PolicySaint ("we," "us") operates policysaint.com, a free service that helps consumers compare insurance rate information and request quotes from licensed insurance providers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Contact identifiers you provide: first name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and state.
- Insurance-related answers you provide: current insurance status and carrier, vehicle details, age range, credit range (self-reported), homeownership, driving history responses, and current payment range.
- Technical data collected automatically: IP address, device and browser characteristics, referring page, and interaction timing. We use this to secure the service and detect fraudulent submissions.
- Consent records: the text of the consent you agreed to, a timestamp, and (where enabled) an independent consent certificate.
How we use it
- To match your quote request with a licensed insurance provider and forward your request to them. Each request is forwarded to one matched provider — we do not blast your information to multiple companies at once.
- To verify submissions are genuine (fraud and bot detection) and to maintain records of consent.
- To measure and improve the service (analytics).
Who we share it with
- One matched licensed insurance provider (or its network) per request — the recipient may compensate us for the referral. This sharing may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state privacy laws.
- Service providers that help us operate: hosting, analytics, phone/email verification, and consent certification vendors, bound to use data only to provide their service to us.
- Legal requirements: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or users' safety.
We do not sell your information to data brokers, and we do not share your contact information with anyone other than as described above.
Your choices and rights

- Access or deletion: residents of certain states may request access to or deletion of their personal information — email privacy@policysaint.com and we will respond within the legally required period.
- Stop contact from a provider: you may revoke marketing consent at any time by telling the provider that contacts you, or by emailing us and we will suppress your details from future forwarding.
Data retention and security
We retain lead and consent records as needed to operate the service and meet legal and contractual record-keeping obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Data is stored on access-controlled servers in the United States, encrypted in transit.
Children
The service is intended for individuals 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
